FSA Full Steam Ahead

How The Process Works

Step 1

The first step you should take when discovering fire damage, water damage, mold damage or damage from a natural disaster is to contact your insurance company and decide if you are going to submit a claim.

Step 2

Quick response helps to eliminate additional damage so calling FSA-Full Steam Ahead will be your next step.

Step 3

We will make an appointment and come to your home and evaluate the damage. Should your home need emergency mitigation, temporary board up, or just an estimate for repairs, we will help you determine what is next.

Step 4

An FSA certified estimator will contact your insurance adjuster to make sure they receive all necessary paperwork and to reach an agreed upon scope of work to return your home or business to it’s pre-loss condition. Your personal estimator will create a line by line scope of work completed with Xactimate estimating software, a software used by most insurance companies.

Step 5

Once finalization of your scope is completed, we will begin the process to restore your home. We have the capability to move and inventory the contents of your home should the need arise. All items in your home are carefully inventoried and labeled in our secured facility.

Step 6

Our staff will meet with you one-on-one to go over selections and address any other questions or concerns you may have. The FSA-Full Steam Ahead Design Center is a one stop shop for our homeowners to make selections regarding the interior elements of your home.

Step 7

Once all work has been finished, our estimators will conduct a final walkthrough to make sure everything is completed to your satisfaction.
